We have two experienced counsellors based at the Practice. They can offer support to those patients experiencing anxiety and derpression. They are trained in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This is a type of talking therapy that can help change how you think and what you do. These changes can help you to feel better.

We also have Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) based at the Practice to provide help and support to people with mental health problems such as schizophrenia. They are highly trained professionals that have a range of supportive skills. They will see patients at home, in the surgery or at The Hazels Centre, Llandrindod Wells.
They work closely with the local GP's and consultant Psychiatrists.
