Your doctor may request you to attend for blood tests or provide samples either to help with management of your current condition or as part of the monitoring associated with some medications.
If tests are requested in a consultation the doctor will agree with you how to get the results – this may be during a follow-up consultation, by phoning during the designated time slots to speak to a nurse (Monday to Friday 2.00pm-2.30pm and 4.30pm-5.00pm)
Your doctor will review any test requested for medication monitoring and make appropriate changes.
