NON-EMERGENCY PATIENT TRANSPORT


On the 1st April 2021, the calls for the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service will move from the Powys Call centre to Welsh Ambulance Service as part of the Transfer of Work programme.


The new number to request Non-Emergency Hospital Transport is

0300 123 2303


Please read the detail below as there are some specific areas that don’t use the central number-

If a patients’ appointment is in Hereford County Hospital and is not a radiotherapy appointment then they will call the Powys Call-centre (01686613200)
If their appointment is for Radiotherapy at Hereford County they ring Welsh Ambulance Service on 0300 123 2303
If a patients’ appointment is at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital, Oswestry then they will call Falck on 03300 535695
For all other requests for Ambulance Transport patients will call the Welsh Ambulance Service on 0300 123 2303
